Infrared surface temperature sensor IR 40 EL, #31003150
Infrared surface temperature sensor IR 40 EL, #31003150
The IR 40 EL active electrode is a special sensor that can be used to measure surface temperatures without contact. As the electrode works on an infrared basis, it is therefore ideal for measuring parts with low heat capacity (e.g. wood, glass, insulating materials, etc.).
The electrode can be used with Hydromettes M 4050, RTU 600, UNI 1, UNI 1 and HB 30.
- Ideal sensor for detecting thermal bridges in buildings, for determining the dew point temperature, for measuring live, moving or vibrating parts and for determining the position of heating pipes or coils.
- With the help of the integrated laser pointer, the position of the measuring spot can be precisely indicated.
- The measuring spot diameter increases or decreases with changing distances to the measuring object in a ratio of 6:1, i.e. at a distance of 250 mm from the object, the measuring spot has a diameter of approx. 46 mm. Immediately in front of the probe aperture, the measuring spot has a size of 5 mm.
- For the measurement of metallic or shiny surfaces we recommend to use the matt black stickers IR 30/E 95, otherwise faulty measurements may occur.
Temperature:
Infrared measuring range:
-20 - +199.9 °C (with Hydromette M 4050: 0 - +169.9 °C)
± 0.5 °C (0 - 60 °C), at ambient temperature 0 - 50 °C (*)
Fixed emission factor of 0.95
(*) = Sensor accuracy
Compatible with the following Gann meters:
- Hydromette HB 30 (1510)
- Hydromette M 4050 (1400)
- Hydromette RTU 600 (1670)
- Hydromette UNI 1 (1430)
- Hydromette UNI 2 (1550)
- Matt black stickers IR 30/E 95 (5833)
