4-wheel electrode WEL400 for Screening Eagle / Proceq PM8500
The 4-wheel electrode from Screening Eagle (formerly Proceq) has been developed for the rapid and comprehensive measurement of corrosion potentials across large concrete surfaces. It is particularly suitable for floor slabs, multi-storey car parks, bridge decks and similar structures.
Thanks to the adjustable wheel spacing of 150 to 250 mm, the electrode can be flexibly adapted to the desired measurement resolution and working speed. When used in conjunction with the Profometer PM8500, it enables
measurement rates of up to 1,800 m² per hour.
A high-precision position sensor records the distance travelled and ensures accurate assignment of the measured values. The robust telescopic rod facilitates work on larger surfaces.
The measurement data is analysed and visualised immediately. This allows areas at risk of corrosion to be identified and assessed whilst the test is still in progress. Non-destructive half-cell potential measurement helps to detect the first signs of reinforcement corrosion at an early stage.
