"Friedrich Richter Messwerkzeuge" has been known worldwide for quality products in measurement technology for over 100 years. Founded in 1920 in Eger by the grandfather of the current owner, the company is now in its third generation and continues to focus on the highest quality and continuous optimisation of products and processes.

Richter was already exporting measuring tools to Europe and overseas in the 1920s and 1930s. The company was temporarily closed during the Second World War.

A new start followed after the war, and between 1949 and 1953 the new company headquarters were built in Speichersdorf. Export success quickly materialised again, and by the early 1950s the products were once again being sold internationally.

To this day, the company remains loyal to its location, while its measuring tools are used in over 40 countries - with a growing reach.
