The Lumitester LED Test Kit makes your quality control even safer. It checks the accuracy of the luminitester in just 30 seconds. It enables continuous self-monitoring and checks both the perfect condition and the correct function of the luminometer.
The control kit consists of a control swab (positive control), a negative control and a charger with mains adapter. It can only be used for luminometers PD20, PD30 and Smart.
The control swab can be used to check whether the measurement results of the luminometer are still within the specification. In contrast to other common methods, no radioactive substances are used.
The positive control is based on an artificial green LED light source that emits a precisely defined, preset and calibrated amount of light. This amount of light is measured in the Lumitester in the same way as with the LuciPac A3 Swab. If the target value printed on the control kit is achieved between 80 and 120 %, the Lumitester is OK. If the deviation is higher, the chamber of the Lumitester must be cleaned according to the procedure described in the operating instructions.
