The Gann BL Compact TF-IR 2 has sensors for infrared measurement of surface temperature as well as for measuring air temperature and relative humidity.This combination of different measuring methods enables the TF-IR 2 to quickly and reliably assess dew point undershoots or to detect borderline situations on surfaces such as walls, ceilings, floors as well as window and balcony door lintels.
In addition to the measured value display, the device has an acoustic signal for locating critical surface temperatures.
If used in time, mould formation can be prevented or the occurrence of condensation dampness can be reliably assessed.
The sensor is interchangeable. Therefore, several measuring sensors (pluggable TF-Sticks) can be attached to different measuring points and these can be interrogated quickly one after the other while avoiding longer adjustment times.

- The shorter the signal intervals, the closer you get to the dew point temperature and the more endangered the area in question is for mould formation or infestation.
- A continuous tone means the acute danger of mould formation, as water from the air can condense in the affected area when the temperature falls below the dew point temperature.
