Our plastic gap gauge is a practical measuring tool for the quick and precise determination of gap widths and dimensions. It is particularly suitable for use in the bodywork and automotive sectors, for example to check gap dimensions on doors, bonnets, tailgates, wings and other body parts.

Gentle on paintwork – ideal for vehicle bodywork
The gap gauge is made of plastic. This makes it ideal for measurements on painted and sensitive surfaces. Unlike metal gauges, the risk of scratches or damage to the vehicle’s paintwork is significantly reduced.
Laser-etched and coloured scale
A key quality feature is the permanent marking: the numbers and scale are laser-etched and then additionally coloured – not simply printed on.
This makes the scale particularly abrasion-resistant, high-contrast and permanently easy to read – an important advantage for regular use in workshops and by vehicle surveyors.
Well-designed handling
The extended handle ensures that the gap gauge sits comfortably and securely in the hand. This allows even frequent measurements to be carried out quickly and conveniently.
There is also an eyelet on the handle for a wrist strap. This allows the gap gauge to be secured or attached to a set of keys, for example.
Another special feature: the eyelet has a standard tripod thread. This allows the gap gauge to be attached to a suitable handle or monopod.
