In contrast to conventional cards, this transparent crack width card is not produced using a printing process, but is instead exposed. A film is first exposed using a laser, then developed and finally laminated. The final step ensures stability and longevity. Laser exposure allows extremely precise and fine crack widths to be produced that could not be achieved with a printing process.
